Inspired by artist Henri Rousseau, this exquisite gown from our Pre-Fall 2016 collection is rich with lavish details including leaf-motif embroidered tulle that continues to the back and a full pleated silk chiffon. The accompanying leatherette belt accentuates the waistline.

Hem Tips

The skirt is finished with a merrow edge. Sometimes known as overlocking, a merrowed hem is the process of wrapping thread around fabric, yielding an elegant, narrow and uniform stitch. Cut skirt to desired length. Finish with merrow edge. To hem the jersey lining, use a double needle cover stitch to finish hem. Cut the same amount for the lining as you cut from the self.
