To hem this skirt, it is important to maintain proportions. Separate tiers and cut equal parts from each tier, evenly distributing the total length you would like to shorten. To hem the jersey lining, use a double needle cover stitch to finish hem. Cut the same amount for the lining as you cut from the self.
